Taiwan Insurance Institute organized the “2022 Improving English Proficiency Workshop – Insurance International Affairs” from September 19-21.
To promote the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s insurance professionals and adhere to the “Bilingual Nation” blueprint by National Development Council, TII held the “2022 Improving English Proficiency Workshop – Insurance International Affairs” from September 19 to 21 at the Golden Tulip FAB Hotel.
This workshop was created as a 3-day-camp and English-only environment. Participants were encouraged and guided to better utilize and express themselves in professional English with confidence, through workplace simulations and real-life situations.
This year, the theme of the workshop covered the broad spectrum of Risk Management and its latest trends, applying insurance to enterprise risk management for business advantage, strategic risk taking, and creating a risk-aware culture. In addition, to expand the international cultural horizons of the participants, the courses also targeted English based social events as well as table manners. This really helped participants to put themselves in English thinking and conversational modes.
The workshop, comprising of financial insurance and English expertise, received enthusiastic support from the insurance industry. The workshop also helped cultivate bilingual talent in international finance and insurance to further promote the internationalization of the insurance industry.
