Ministry of Finance, Vietnam visits TII

On May 12, 2016, Taiwan Insurance Institute (TII) had the honor of receiving a delegation of Ministry of Finance, Vietnam led by Mr. Phung Ngoc Khanh, General Director of Insurance Supervisory Authority (ISA), Ministry of Finance, and held the Seminar on “Insurance Supervision Practical in Taiwan and Implications for Vietnam”. 

During the Seminar, representatives from ISA shared their view on the development strategy of Vietnam insurance market. On the other hand, the FSC Taiwan, R.O.C. showed the responsibility and finance mechanism of the FSC. In addition, speakers from TII and local insurance professionals introduced the tax incentives policy, legislation on insurance business in Taiwan as well as Taiwan insurance market, which included the insurance products, newly developed distribution channels, and insurance regulatory and supervisory model. 

The Seminar echoes the strategy of extending the antenna of Taiwanese financial services into the Asian region. It is expected to deepen the relationship with Vietnam authority and assist Taiwan insurance industry develop operating strategy in Asia.
