全民健康保險資料庫於癌症保險費率－相關發生率之研究

政府開辦全民健康保險後，國人罹患各種疾病的統計資料，已經完整紀錄於「全民健康保險資料庫」中。截至2002年底，全民健康保險的納保率已經高達97.11%，統計資料的全面與完整性足具代表。本研究即藉由國家衛生研究院製作之「全民健康保險資料庫」，分別依年齡與性別建立台灣地區各種癌症經驗統計表及發生率，包括癌症住院、住院手術、癌症門診手術、癌症門診放射/化學治療之人數、次數、日數及金額，以及所對應的粗普及率、粗發生率等，提供保險業界釐定癌症保險費率時，精算計算之參考。

A Mortality Study of Cancer Insurance Pricing Based on the National Health Insurance Research Database

With the implementation of the National Health Insurance Plan (NHIP) in 1995, a comprehensive database managed by the National Health Research Institutes, the National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD), contains an accumulated 12 million administrative and claims data. As of the end of 2002, the coverage rate of the NHIP is about 97.11%. The NHIRD is capable of providing a highly representative picture of various crude rates concerning cancer healthcare in Taiwan. In this paper, crude prevalence rates of cancer, such as inpatient, inpatient surgery, outpatient, outpatient surgery, radiotherapy/chemo-therapy, incidence, and mortality, are provided based in part on data from the NHIRD.
