從四川大地震論我國住宅地震保險制度－台灣地震損失早期評估系統的應用The Scheme of Residential Earthquake Insurance in Taiwan

摘要
本文藉由四川汶川地震的資料搜集與回顧台灣地區20世紀以來之災害性地震，利用住宅地震早期損失評估系統，分析台灣地區受四川相同規模地震可能造成之住宅地震保險損失。藉此從被保險人、保險公司與政府等三方面來探論我國住宅地震保險制度之重要性。

Abstract
This article first surveys the similarities between the earthquake in Sichuan in 2008 and the historic destructive earthquakes happened in Taiwan in 20th century. Second, we analyze the possible maximum loss of residential earthquake insurance in Taiwan by using the TELES (Taiwan Earthquake Loss Estimation System) program. Finally, based on the results of the analyses, we discuss the importance of the scheme from three aspects: the insured, insurer and government.
