台灣保險業國際化之探討－東京海上保險公司經驗The Internationalization of the Taiwan Insurance Industry－The Study of Tokio M

摘要
保險業為金融服務業一環，保險業國際化是未來發展潮流，本文使用敘述性分析，由相關文獻探討與日本東京海上保險案例，來分析目前我國保險國際化現況與問題。並藉由日本東京海上保險國際化成效與「不斷改善既有事業經營、提升資本效率」的經營策略，作為本國保險業在國際化過程中之經驗參考。
本文建議提昇我國保險業國際競爭力與經營利基具體措施為發展保險業成為亞洲區域保險集團，因為成為區域性保險集團不但有助於國內GDP成長，更可加速本國保險業國際化腳步。本文亦提出擴大財務規模等相關建議，作為本國保險業國際化應具備之條件與方法。

Abstract
The insurance industry is a part of financial services industry and the globalization is the trend of insurance development among nations. This paper analyzes the current situations and problems of the Taiwan insurance industry, and studies the experience of internationalization of the Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance of Japan.
This paper suggests the Government should encourage each insurance company in Taiwan to expand business as an Asian regional insurance group since developing regional insurance group could help not only increase GDP but also accelerate globalization. This paper also suggests expand financial and management scales to enhance competition among nations.
